Happy October dears! While I’ve been celebrating spooky season for over a month, this week is finally beginning to feel like it. Every year I fall into the same trap of “I’m going to do inktober! I’ll be so organized and get everything sketched out a month before…” and then get distracted by the flood of Halloween mask orders.
I feel blessed that the energy and manifestations I’ve put into my small business are paying off, even if it seems like baby steps. So instead I’m just going to allow myself to work at my own pace this October (and hopefully get a few more tarot cards designed this month!) Art has always been my form of prayer, and more recently a way to process grief.
I don’t think there is much to read into this one besides that I wanted to get a head start on my 2022 Lunar Calendar design and for whatever reason was inspired to draw a frog. But it still brought me great joy and comfort. They are up for sale now on my Etsy shop if you want to snag a first edition visit: www.etsy.com/shop/faylander
